Russell has been teaching Horsemanship clinics and starting horses professionally since 1999. Starting as one of Pat Parelli's apprentices in Colorado, Russell continued his education with Pat and horsemen such as Buck Brannaman and Martin Black. To date he's taught in 15 different countries and started young horses on three continents. Russell teaches clinics and trains horses at Brumby Farm, his facility in Te Awamutu, New Zealand.
